What is Identity Tracking?
This page explains what data the Identity service collects, how that data is used, and what data is explicitly not collected. The goal is transparency and informed choice.
How it works
Identity records high-level interaction events when you visit participating websites. These events help understand how content is viewed and used, without identifying you personally.
How data is used
Tracked data is used for analytics, reporting, and limited content customization. Data is analyzed in aggregate to understand trends and improve site experiences.
Data that is tracked
Categories of tracked data may include page views and URLs, click and scroll events, donation events (without PII), timestamps, browser and language information, approximate GeoIP location, and analytics platform identifiers.
Data that is not tracked
Identity does not collect credit card information, social security numbers, keystrokes, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information.
